Summer Reading

This will be the last time I’m required to do summer reading for school.  It’s kind of amazing I’m already one year away from finishing high school… but let’s not get into that.

With my school’s flexibility of being online, they’re also flexible when it comes to our summer reading lists.  They release a list of books that we can choose from for our summer reading, and it’s a rather large list.  It’s full of the classics that we don’t cover in our classes, along with Christian reads, as it is a Christian school.

I took a while to look through the list and decided on eight titles I definitely want to read this summer to complete my list.  Technically we only need to read one book so that we can write a book report the first week of classes, but most schools require that anyway.  Other than that, summer reading is optional.  I’ve always done it though, because I love to read.  I might not read as much as my brother Seth, but I do read quite a bit.

I might start posting reviews as I read the books, but I’m not 100% sure about that yet.  I’ll see how it goes.  If you’re interested in what titles I’ll be reading, you can check out my Summer Reading List and maybe let me know if you’ve read any of them or not.

With that, let the summer reading begin!
